Executive Director:  Susan Goes

Susan Goes became Executive Director of Cottage Theatre in 2007.  She began her career in the development department of The Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra in 1982 and has worked with a variety of arts and nonprofit organizations since then, in both staff and board capacities.  Among her former positions were Executive Director of the Discovery Foundation (Juneau, AK) and Director of Development for VocalEssence (Minneapolis, MN). Susan has been involved in theatre productions since her youth, both onstage and behind-the-scenes. She holds a Masters in Arts Administration from the College-Conservatory of Music, University of Cincinnati and a Bachelor of Arts in Music (musical theatre emphasis) from Carleton College in Minnesota. She has lived in the Cottage Grove area since 1998 and first became involved with Cottage Theatre in 2005. She has appeared on stage in many CT productions over the years. Favorites include Oliver!, The Sound of Music, Wizard of Oz, Chicago, Sweeney Todd, The Spitfire Grill, Willy Wonka, She Loves Me, and Seussical.
