A MIDPUPPET NIGHT'S DREAM

She Loves Me
August 5 - 21, 2011
Written by William Shakespeare

Directed by Tony Rust

"The course of true love never did run smooth..."
Mix together a wedding in the woods, some fairies, and a motley collection of amateur actors, and you've got one of Shakespeare's most popular comedies. This production of A Midsummer Night's Dream is Cottage Theatre's very first foray into the woks of the great Bard. Our exciting new version uses Shakespeare's awesome poetry and language while featuring original, handmade puppets (worked and voiced by actors) in the roles of all the fairies. Even though "so quick bright things come to confusion," the beloved Puck orchestrates a happy ending for all.
