SPOTLIGHT AWARDS

Here at Cottage Theatre, we are blessed with some incredibly talented and hard-working actors, directors, designers and crew members. Every other year we pause to celebrate these wonderful volunteers with our own version of the Tony Awards.

In September of every even-numbered year, you will find us donning our fanciest clothes for a gala party that celebrates all that we find so special about our theatre community. We give out plenty of awards, ranging from "Best Youth Actor" to "Best Costume Design" to the perennial favorite  "Best Death Scene." Our audience and volunteers vote on the winners through a ballot several months before the event.

This is an invitation-only party for our volunteers (but all you have to do to be invited is work on a CT show -- so what are you waiting for?!)

The 2018 Spotlight Awards will be held September 8, 2018.
