AUDITION
All Cottage Theatre auditions are open to any interested actors. We try to make our auditions as friendly and fun as possible. Previous stage experience, while helpful, is not necessary to audition. Almost all CT productions include actors appearing on our stage for the first time -- maybe this show it will be your turn!

Nevermore
Audition Date: March 15 at 6:00 pm Production Dates: June 6 - 22, 2025 Directed by Kory Weimer Roles available: 7 actor/singers and 3 puppeteers Note from Director: I am looking for 7 amazing actors and vocalists and 3 talented puppeteers to help me bring this story to life. If you want to come and audition, please prepare the following : For vocalists please prepare 16-32 bars of a song of your choosing, that showcases your ability to sing. Please don't limit yourself to the genre of the show. Also, please bring sheet music, or an MP3 track that we can play. Please no acapella auditions. We will also be singing some selections from the show, so familiarize yourself with the show. For puppeteers, please come prepared to do 30 seconds to a minute long monologue, using a puppet that will be provided. If there are any questions, please feel free to contact me via email. The Tempest
Audition Dates: Saturday June 14 at 1:00 pm OR Sunday June 15 at 6:00 pm (come to whichever date suits your schedule best) Production Dates: August 8 - 24, 2025 Directed by Tony Rust Audition Information: Please prepare a short part of a Shakespeare monologue. If you don't have one we have provided two options for you. Auditions will also include readings from the script, a vocal audition (singing to simple backing tracks from the play), and some movement work. Please review more detailed information below. |
