AUDITION
All Cottage Theatre auditions are open to any interested actors. We try to make our auditions as friendly and fun as possible. Previous stage experience, while helpful, is not necessary to audition. Almost all CT productions include actors appearing on our stage for the first time -- maybe this show it will be your turn!

Sunday in the Park with George
Audition Date: Sunday, March 15 at 6:00 pm Production Dates: June 5 - 21, 2026 Directed by Jesse Merz Roles available: The cast will include 13 adult actors, and 1 youth actor. The youth needs to portray a 10-year-old female on stage, and needs to be an experienced performer and strong singer. (Please refer to MTI website for detailed character breakdown.) We will be performing the genders as binary man/woman as written, but the casting can be flexible. Seeking Inclusive Casting / Non-Traditional Casting, so all humans are encouraged to audition! Audition information: Please come prepared to sing 16-32 bars of a musical theatre song (ballad rather than belt is preferred) and bring sheet music for our accompanist. No a capella or karaoke auditions for this show. Auditions will also include readings from the script. |
