Executive Director: Susan Goes
Susan Goes became Executive Director of Cottage Theatre in 2007. She began her career in the development department of The Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra and has worked with a variety of arts and nonprofit organizations, in both staff and board capacities. Among her former positions were Executive Director of Discovery Southeast (Juneau, AK) and Director of Development for VocalEssence (Minneapolis, MN). Susan has been involved in theatre productions since her youth, both onstage and behind-the-scenes. She holds a Masters in Arts Administration from the College-Conservatory of Music, University of Cincinnati and a Bachelor of Arts from Carleton College in Minnesota. She has lived in the Cottage Grove area since 1998 and first became involved with Cottage Theatre in 2005. She has appeared on stage in many CT productions over the years. Favorites include Cinderella, Sweeney Todd, The Sound of Music, Chicago, The Spitfire Grill, Willy Wonka, and Seussical.

Community Engagement Manager: Maddie Paige
Maddie joined the Cottage Theatre staff in June 2022 as CT's very first Community Engagement Manager. She holds two Bachelor of Arts from Western Oregon University, one in Communication Studies and the other in American Sign Language Interpreting. Throughout her professional experience, she has kickstarted and facilitated a musical theatre education program for youth, as well as fulfilling the role of Social Media Manager with Allegro Dance Studio in Canby, Oregon. She has also served two years as a full-time ASL interpreter. Theatre is her passion, and she is so glad to serve this community through a shared love of the performing arts.

Technical Director: Tony Rust
Tony joined the Cottage Theatre staff in March 2022. Tony is a highly experienced and multi-talented theatre professional with a wealth of expertise in various roles within the industry. Over the last fifteen years, he has generously volunteered his skills as a Director, Actor, Designer, and Set Builder at Cottage Theatre. Tony has also worked as a partner at Brooklyn Scenic & Theatrical in NYC, where he helped build stunning theatrical scenery for tours and off-Broadway productions, as well as one Broadway show. He has also spent time at the Metropolitan Opera in their scene shop, and served as Technical Director for the Pearl Theatre and Brooklyn College Theatre. Tony holds a Masters of Fine Arts in Directing and a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Acting, and also teaches theatre at Marist High School in Eugene, inspiring and educating the next generation of theatre enthusiasts and professionals.
