Based on the celebrated novel by Daniel Wallace and the acclaimed Tim Burton film, Big Fish tells the story of Edward Bloom, a traveling salesman who lives life to its fullest ... and then some! Edward’s life has been populated by witches, giants, mermaids, and, of course, a very big fish. His incredible, larger-than-life stories thrill everyone around him — most of all, his devoted wife Sandra. But their son Will has long been frustrated by his dad’s fantastical tales of outlandish heroics. When Edward’s health declines, and Will learns he is about to have a child of his own, Will becomes determined to hear the “true version” of his father’s life once and for all. Overflowing with heart and humor, Big Fish is a powerful musical about fathers and sons and how our life stories shape who we become.
